Multimedia installation at Summerhall
Sentience was delivered through my door in August. Since then, the book was patiently waiting for the launch that happened on 18th of September at Edinburgh's most impressive art venue and the location of my little studio - Summerhall.
The night itself was amazing; with two simultaneous projections of photographs from the book, showcase of prints on the walls and the soundtrack playing in the background. I have also provided an opportunity to see the book, and many visitors walked out with their own copies.
The event gathered such interest that, to satisfy those who couldn't visit the opening night, we are opening it again on the weekend of 26-27th of September. Visit us if you can.
Sentience started appearing across the Internet. Phases Magazine, an influential online platform has published images from the book in a recent feature. A number of other magazines and websites showcasing recent photographic work has posts about the book scheduled; I will be keeping social platforms up to date with information. I have also received a request for an interview from one of these, so perhaps soon you will be able to read more about the history behind the book.
All pre-orders are now fulfilled and I am receiving emails and tweets from those who received their books. It's nice to see folk from all around the world immersing in the world of Sentience. Thank you all for your support, people. The book is now available for a regular purchase - no need to wait any more!
Sentience at the Bradford Photobook Fair
The book will be available at the Bradford Photobook Fair organised by the Impressions Gallery. I am thankful to the gallery for considering my work and I hope that at least a few copies will find new homes.
More updates soon.
